Introduction and Background
The Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has supported Uganda’s fight against the HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria epidemics since 2002. The Global Fund grants support priority areas in the National Strategic Plans for HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria and also National priorities of building resilient Health and community systems for delivery of quality services.
Currently, the broad areas supported by The Global Fund are: HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis

CCM Coordinator/Executive Secretary – 1 Position
The Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism (Uganda CCM) is the Board at country level that mobilizes resources and oversees the implementation of the Global Fund supported programmes in Ugandato ensure that the approved funds are used for the intended purpose; and that the services and commodities funded with Global Fund grants are provided to the intended beneficiaries.The Uganda CCM Board is technically supported by a Secretariat to enable it to meet its objectives,exercise its mandate and fulfil its oversight function.
The Uganda CCM seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, highly skilled, experienced and motivated person to fill this position at the Uganda CCM Secretariat.

Renewal of Stakeholders’ representatives to the Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism for the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (UCCM)
The Uganda CCM for the Global fund grants is notifying stakeholders in the fight against HIV/ AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to participate in the forthcoming selection of representatives to the UCCM. Stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the election of representatives that will be responsible for providing oversight over Global Funds grants implementation in Uganda for 2020/2021- 2023/2024 board tenure
The UCCM has mandated the various Constituency Secretariats and focal persons to coordinate the elections of the representatives. The elections should be conducted in the period 1st- 15th November 2020 to allow preparation for the orientation of the new board to start operations in December 2020
